Jett's 2nd Birthday: A Wheels Party!

Well, I reckon I've been so busy being a mom, I forgot I decided to be a blogger too! I can't believe our little Jetterbug is TWO already. WHERE does the time go? His party was a blast. We did a wheels theme since he loves pretty much anything that has wheels. Bikes, motorcycles, trucks, you name it. The weather couldn't have been better, & all of Jett's best buds were able to come. (Except Lincoln. We really missed him. And his momma too :)). I had so much fun decorating & planning, I wanted to share with y'all. I couldn't have pulled it all off without the help of my sisters & mom though! Here's a few photos of what we did. Thanks for taking a few photos, Gum!!

Here's the main spread. I used my Silhouette Portrait machine to die cut Jett's name for the bandana banner. My mom had the great idea to get the Pennzoil boxes from Autozone, & they worked great for creating a little height on the table.
I designed these drink labels & printed them on adhesive paper for the "Motor Oil" (chocolate milk) and "Antifreeze"(apple juice) bottles. I'm obsessed with these drink bottles now!!
I saw this idea for serving food out of a dump truck on Pinterest! What did we do before we had unlimited inspiration like that?!
We found these funnels at the dollar store & they were a hit for serving the popcorn!
Jonathan's garage proved to be a great place to find a few added extras like the "Keep Calm & Ride On" print, the tire door hanger, the hubcap behind the table & the orange cone.
I used my Silhouette Portrait machine to create the "For The Road" banner & for the tire track treads. I cut the treads on gold adhesive vinyl & transferred on to the water bottles for favors. I also put a little toy car & a party horn in the little paper bags.
The vintage Radio Flyer was in someones trash, but worked great as party decor! Jett also likes to ride it even though it may fall apart at any minute.
I found a plastic table cloth to cover this bench with & used white duct tape to create a road.

Jonathan built this awesome ramp the day before the party with extra wood we had in the yard! Isn't he the best?! This also eventually doubled as a very anti-climatic slide.
LOVE this super soft Mr. Fantastic t-shirt I found at Tweed, the greatest baby/kids store in the world! If you haven't been, go NOW!
Elisa helped the napless Jett open his presents:) (Photo cred for the rest of these photos: Montgomery Lee)
Jett was SUPER pumped about his new Planes book from Porter.
 Sweet Sullie:)
 And sweet Sunny!
Beth & Brad made Jett this hoodie. Jonathan & Brad have a song called "Say you Want Me" & Jett's favorite part is when Jonathan sings "Lonely, Lonely" and he always sings along. Sounds more like "Nonely, Nonely" :) It's the cutest. This gift made me cry.

Jett loved his hard hat & tool set from Sullie! Didn't want to take it off even though it wouldn't stay on!
He absolutely LOVES this awesome motorcycle from his Nana & Paw Paw! I think Brad wanted to ride on it too, but it didn't come with a side car.
 "Hayulp, Daddy, Hayulp!"

So there it is! Such a fun day with amazing friends and family. I had so much fun planning this party, I've decided to start creating Parties in a Box! What do y'all think? I feel like it's an easy way for people to throw a custom party without all the work & headache of the planning. And I really enjoy most of the headache part, so we all win! Haha! Thanks for stopping by the blog. I'm going to make more of an effort to keep it updated:)
